Fall Cruise and visit to the Rambler Ranch, Elizabeth, Colorado
On September 30, 2007, several members got together for a Fall Cruise and a visit to the Rambler Ranch. With 6 cars, 13 members and friends cruised up Colorado Highway 83 to Franktown and then went east to Elizabeth and the Rambler Ranch. The ranch consists of 3 buildings which house the collection of Nashes, Ramblers, American Motors products, and also a collection of other American made vehicles. There are almost 400 vehicles on display plus about another 200 vehicles in a field on the northside of the largest building. Following the museum visit, most of the members cruised through Castle Rock and west to Perry Park Rd. and then south to Monument and lunch at Rosie's Diner.
