Bruce McCandless Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home

The Southern Colorado Mopars and friends from Colorado Springs and Pueblo cruised to Florence on Sunday, June 24th, for a show and cookout for resident veterans at the Bruce McCandless Home.  With 27 cars and about 40 car folks, along with 12 staff members, we were able to provide a great time for the 100 residents of the home.

Burgers, dogs, chips, smoke, shade, and our very own - genuine Mopar Tank!!!   This little get-together drew lots of positive and enthusiastic comments!!   Many, many participants (both SCM and other vehicle owners) expressed heartfelt thanks for the opportunity to do something like this and felt strongly about doing it again. Special thanks to all who took additional time out of their weekend for this one. It can be difficult to leave those chores (or even the TV remote) untouched.
