2007 Mopar Big Block Party, Golden, Colorado

Each year, prior to the NHRA Mopar Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway, Mopar Performance hosts the Big Block Party in Golden.  This year's event was held on the evening of July 12th.  The event featured selected Mopars from Colorado, members of Team Mopar and some of their race cars, a swimsuit modeling competition featuring Gary Scelzi (Wild Thing won), Jack Beckman, Allen Johnson, and Richie Stevens.  The drivers signed autographs and posed for some pictures for the fans that came to the party.  Although rain dampened the first hour, the rest of the night festivities went on smoothly.  Entertainment was provided by the Chicago cover band Maggie Speaks.
